I take the time to learn who you are, how you got here, and the small details that make your relationship feel like yours. On the wedding day, that means being present enough to read the room, knowing when to step in, when to stay quiet, and when to ask the right question at exactly the right time.
All of those little moments shape the experience, and ultimately, they shape a film that feels personal, intentional, and deeply connected to you.

I’ve created a lot of films, and I’ve watched even more. What I’ve found is that most wedding films fall into one of two categories: fast, flashy, and all hype, or slow, pretty, and somehow still forgettable.
Neither makes me feel much.
That’s what I care about most.
I want your film to pull you back into the experience, not simply show you what happened. And because every couple is different, every film should feel different too. Yours might carry anticipation, chaos, energy, tenderness, nostalgia, or that almost untranslatable Portuguese feeling of saudade: the ache of missing something while being deeply grateful it happened at all.
The goal isn’t just to remember your wedding.
It’s to feel it again.
That films can be more
I’m not interested in making a film that only feels relevant the year you get married.
The things that matter most usually aren’t the trends, the details, or even the perfectly composed shots. It’s the sound of someone’s voice. The way your parents looked at you. The laugh you didn’t realize was being recorded. The people who filled the room and the version of yourselves that existed in that moment.
My goal is to preserve those things honestly, because I believe a wedding film should become more valuable with time.
Ten, twenty, or forty years from now, I want it to feel less like something you watched after your wedding and more like a piece of your family’s history.

Beyond the camera
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m usually chasing some kind of adventure. That might mean exploring somewhere new, surfing, spearfishing, scuba diving, going for a run, or spending time with my family and our dogs.
I’m a big foodie, a Kindle addict, a very average ukulele player, and somehow also a decoy in French Ring.
I’m also constantly dreaming up movie ideas, noticing little moments, and thinking about stories I want to tell. Storytelling has always followed me beyond weddings. It’s just how my brain works.
Story Driven
My approach is rooted in story, not just pretty shots. I love creating beautiful, intentional images and films, but what matters most is how it all feels together. Audio plays a huge role in that, from vows and speeches to little moments that say more than visuals ever could. It’s not about using audio constantly, it’s about using it with purpose, letting the right words and real sounds carry the moments that need it most. The people, the energy, the emotion, and the way the day naturally unfolds all shape the final piece, so your film doesn’t just show what happened, it brings you right back to why it mattered.

Though I’m based in Phoenix, Arizona, I’m always eager to explore new places, often with my couples by my side! From the rugged beauty of Montana to the serene landscapes of Alaska and the vibrant scenes of Colorado, I’m there to document your love story wherever it takes us. A Timeless Approach
In both my life and work, I’m drawn to things that feel simple, meaningful, and lasting. My approach to weddings is timeless, but not stiff. I love being creative, giving direction when it helps, using movement, locations, light, and even meaningful props you bring into the day. But at the heart of it, I’m always looking for the moments that feel the most real. The ones where you forget the camera is even there. The quiet reactions, the natural laughter, the way you look at each other when nobody is trying too hard. That’s what makes a wedding film or gallery feel honest years later.
